- Homeopathic remedies are mostly derived from plant kingdom - entire plant or their parts or extracts, but chemicals, animal kingdom with animal products, healthy and unhealthy tissues and secretions are also used to prepare the remedies.
- The crude drugs are put through a special process of extraction after which they are serially diluted and vigorously shaken. Through this process of potentization, no chemical or physical trace of the original substance remains. It leaves its energy imprint, however, on the vehicle used to prepare it.
- Homoeopathic medicines are infinitesimally small doses, manufactured in a manner that does not render them toxic. This method of preparation is absolutely scientific and regularly subjected to stringent Quality Control measures.
- Attenuation and Potentization should not be confused with simple dilution.
Potentization is successive and serial
Hahnemann potencies are therefore obtained through successive operations of division of the active ingredient in an excipient in proportions of 1:100 centesimal potency (C or CH) or of 1:10 decimal potency (X or D), with potentization carried out in between each division.
Dilution [with an un-medicinal inert substance, usually Lactose sugar of milk, alcohol and water], PLUS
Friction [by a process of vigorous shaking or grinding], as per rules laid down in standardized literature.
This develops the medicinal powers hidden within the crude drugs and makes them as curative medicines.
- Homoeopathic dosage is in conformity with the laws of physics (researches of Benvenisite).
- All potentized homeopathic drugs are scientifically manufactured with help of modern machinery and as per rules laid down in a standard pharmacopoeia.
